Forklift Operator Certification Training
OSHA-Compliant Training for Powered Industrial Trucks
Course Overview
Powered industrial trucks, commonly known as forklifts, are indispensable tools in many industries, but they can also be dangerous if operated by untrained personnel. This comprehensive certification course is designed to provide operators with the knowledge and skills to operate forklifts safely and efficiently, meeting and exceeding the rigorous training requirements of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.178.2
Our program, offered nationwide, combines formal classroom instruction with practical, hands-on training and a final performance evaluation. This ensures every operator is not just trained, but truly competent and ready to contribute to a safer workplace.

Certification & Refresher Training
Certification:
Upon successful completion of the training and evaluation, we provide all necessary documentation for the employer to certify that the operator has been trained and evaluated in accordance with the OSHA standard. This certification record includes the operator's name, training date, evaluation date, and the name of the trainer.4
Refresher Training & 3-Year Evaluation:
OSHA requires a performance evaluation for each operator at least once every three years.5 Additionally, refresher training is required sooner if an operator:
Is observed operating the vehicle in an unsafe manner.
Is involved in an accident or near-miss incident.
Receives an evaluation that reveals unsafe operation.
Is assigned to drive a significantly different type of truck.6
A condition in the workplace changes that could affect safe operation.
